Every operator with a lease eventually has petroleum-contaminated soil: a flowline leak, a tank overflow, a pit closure. The options are dig and haul, or treat. Treating means releasing the hydrocarbon from the soil and letting the native microbes finish. Hasten Cleanse is a water-based concentrate that does the releasing and feeds the microbes, without adding any of its own. This page is the plain-language guide.
Same-day response during business hours.
| Dig and haul | Treat in place or in a pile | |
|---|---|---|
| What happens to the soil | Leaves the site as waste | Stays, oil released and biodegraded |
| Vapor during the work | Disturbed soil off-gasses | Suppressed by the product |
| Chemistry added | None | Water-based, non-hazardous, no added bacteria |
| Best for | Small volumes, hot spots, regulator preference | Larger volumes, lease spills, pits, piles |
Your regulator and your consultant decide the path. We supply the chemistry and a treatability test for the treat option.
It is not a solvent and not a caustic. It will not dissolve, melt, or strip material that is physically bonded or baked onto a surface: scale, rust, hardened deposits, coatings. It lifts hydrocarbons, oil, grease, crude, sludge, and paraffin, by emulsifying them, and it needs agitation, circulation, pressure, or heat to do that work. If your problem is a stuck-on solid rather than a hydrocarbon film or residue, tell us and we will say so.
No added bacteria. Hasten Cleanse is a chemical, fatty acids and surfactants, with nothing alive in it. It does not introduce a culture that competes with or displaces the microbes already in your system. The fatty acids are food for the population you have.
Standard freight from Houston, totes for site work.
It releases hydrocarbon that is still hydrocarbon. Weathered, heavily degraded material responds more slowly. Ask for a treatability test.
No. Native microbes do the biodegradation.
That is between you, your consultant, and the regulator. We supply the SDS, constituent list, and TSCA status.
No.
Not treated by this product. Hydrocarbon only.
